innocent gaze

For Bluebellbooks

Every child grows in blooming innocence

Like the plant she gazes

Still growing

The soil she taps there with her soft gentle hands

Her gaze is just on what she sees

But soon life will turn out murky

In time

When in the soil

All pains of life will soon turn into toil

And joy soon evaporates

Into thin air like rain drops in the sun

But for once

Maybe sometimes it’s good

To just have our sights enraptured

as a child

And who knows

I might be wrong

The plant will bloom

And grow out strong

  1. Her gaze is just on what she sees

smart take, true, life in incomplete without losses or sadness, which does not hinder the child’s enthusiasm on the green tree.

    Cheers.
