Cries in Seperation

maybe this boy’s saying,
Not with words,
But with tears in his eyes.

Out of the heart of a daughter,
Deep calls in the night,
No one hears to catch her.

Thoughts that cry out for reason,
Trapped beneath the sobs,
Of a child’s dreams
Being robbed.

“Is it me?”
Is a look in the mirror,
Their innocence revoked,
As darkness hovers.

“I don’t want to choose!”
Their heart pulled apart,
How can love create chasm,
“I love both my parents!”
