And with you
I wrote about
The moment when
one man’s dream
Was to kiss a star
In passion swept
As though welcoming death
In that moment
He sold away his breath
And as chasm speaks
Like the west would never meet the east
He dreamt that fate
Had played it’s hand
When they did finally meet
And I wrote that story
About when
One man’s dream
Dropped to smithereens
Because now
His dreams were all now
Shattered
Bits and pieces from the debris.
To live to tell a tale
About a man who lived
And dreamed about
The thought of
Kissing a star
Was too good
To be a tale that would spell out
A Happily ever after.
