love the “better” don’t settle for less
the one who meets all your every “need” stop thinking about the rest
settle for less “conflict” and just a serene “peace”
no more night-less wanderings just a sure “embrace”
looks can be deceiving so look upon the “heart”
age is not the issue as long as it does not “depart.”
This poem has a conceptual thought behind it.
A piece I wrote dated: May 4, 2011.
We all have preconceived ideas in us. In all our echoes of objective love, that believe that there is such a thing as pure love, we might have hidden meanings to our clever masking of generalities, like words I marked in bold.
Like everyone understands “needs” when entailed to life as having a meaning that conjures “the bare essentials.” But generalities in meaning sound good as slogans but how do we really know the truth behind what we mean by “need”?
As I said earlier, we all have our preconceived notions of a belief in what is true but not all of what we believe as true might be realistic, or that we might have a hidden agenda in sounding pure.
