Only a thin line separates…or so it seems

Two separate worlds
In which depicts their
Footprint tracks
But shared
Well, somewhat similar bent
Molten light bulbs
Blinking bright
One breathes for striving
The other just thrill seeking
One sought the plane that promised sweet sailing
The other, a downward spiral twirl, a heavy thump
And when the eye solely judges depth
Only on plain surface
It ceases to see the probability
Of falling
Of failing
The climb is a mountain
To stumble
Just a mistimed footstep.
